EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP:
2 SPOTS FOR
EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTS

Potential knows no bounds—and the cost of an exceptional education shouldn’t be a barrier either. 314 International School is offering two half-tuition scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year.

Jennifer Dariouch — President & Founder · June 2026 · 6-minute read

Since the launch of Project 314, we have been guided by one conviction: the brightest children are not always in schools that are right for them. Too often, high potential goes unfulfilled, and unique profiles go misunderstood—due to a lack of an environment that meets their needs. Sometimes, this is due to a lack of resources. It is to address this reality that we are offering, for the first time, two merit-based scholarships.

TWO SCHOLARSHIPS. ONE CONVICTION.

For the 2026–2027 school year, 314 International School is awarding, on an exceptional basis, two half-scholarships for academic excellence to fourth-grade students.

€6,000 discount on tuition equivalent to 50% of the annual tuition fee of €12,000
2 spots available for the 2026 school year 1 girl · 1 boy · 4th grade
4th Grade — Girl 1 spot open to female candidates
4th Grade — Boy 1 spot open to applicants

The scholarship is awarded on an individual basis and is valid for the 2026–2027 school year. Renewal is considered annually based on the applicant’s record, prior to June 1.

FOR WHICH CHILDREN?

These scholarships are intended for children whose exceptional needs require a specialized educational environment—and whose families cannot afford the cost of international schooling on their own.

High Intellectual Potential (HPI)

A child whose cognitive abilities exceed the norm and who is struggling in a standard classroom setting.

DYS Profile

Dyslexia, dysorthography, dyscalculia, or dyspraxia: intelligent children who are misjudged by the conventional school system.

ADHD

A child whose energy or inattention masks an extraordinary curiosity when it is properly channeled.

Double Exceptional (2E) Profile

HPI and learning disabilities: the most commonly misunderstood and least supported profile.

If your child hasn’t yet received a formal diagnosis but you feel that they aren’t fitting in, don’t rule yourself out. The application allows you to describe your child’s profile even without an official medical document.

WHY 314 FOR THESE CHILDREN?

It is no coincidence that these scholarships are specifically intended for gifted children and those with atypical profiles. Our educational approach was designed for them from the very beginning.

Research as a driving force

Our inquiry-based approach places questions at the heart of every learning experience. Students conduct investigations, formulate hypotheses, and compare their ideas. For a gifted child who gets bored in a classroom where the pace is too slow, this is a breath of fresh air.

Differentiation as a rule

In the Visionnaires class (4th and 5th grades), each student progresses at their own pace in math (Singapore Math) and French. Individualized work plans, proficiency levels, and adapted DYS materials are the norm, not the exception.

The FabLab as a space for creative expression

Our FabLab, which spans over 100 square meters—featuring a Bambu Lab 3D printer, an xTool laser cutter, and robotics equipment—is available to students starting in the "Researchers' Class." For a child whose intelligence is primarily hands-on and creative, being able to make what they imagine is a game-changer.

“You don’t learn two languages; you learn in two languages. For a gifted child, thinking in two languages from an early age isn’t an extra effort—it’s cognitive fuel.”

YOUR QUESTIONS

My child doesn't have an official diagnosis. Can we still apply?

Yes. A detailed letter from the parents describing their observations at home and at school is accepted in lieu of a professional document.

Is the scholarship renewable for the following year?

It is not automatically renewed. Each year, before May 1, the family submits a renewal application. The committee makes its decision under the same conditions.

What portion of the cost is the family responsible for?

The partial scholarship covers 50% of the annual tuition, or €6,000. The family is responsible for the remaining €6,000 per year, payable according to an agreed-upon payment schedule.

Will the other families know that a child is receiving a scholarship?

No. Scholarship status is strictly confidential. The child has access to all activities and facilities under the same conditions as all other students.

My child is in third grade this year. Is he or she eligible to apply?

Yes. The scholarship is for students who will be in fourth grade when the school year begins in September 2026. A child currently in third grade is therefore eligible.

My child attends school in a foreign country. Can we apply?

Yes. We accept report cards from any school system (British, American, international, etc.). Please specify the system on the form.
